
Converted in 1976, Christopher Holdsworth studied at the Bible Training Institute in Glasgow, Scotland, from 1979 to 1982. Whilst there his outreach work included visiting the homes of Jewish people in Glasgow with the Messianic Testimony, and helping a Baptist Minister as a temporary part-time assistant. After graduation he continued his studies another year to gain a further qualification from Cambridge University, England in 1983.
In 1983, Mr Holdsworth was recognised as a lay preacher for pulpit supply within the Free Church of Scotland. From 1987 to 1991 he also studied as a private student at the Free Church of Scotland College in Edinburgh, Scotland, graduating with a distinction in New Testament and Greek. Settling with his young family in the Isle of Skye, he preached with increasing regularity there until he left Scotland for England in 1999.
In March 2006, Mr Holdsworth was invited to visit Jesus Calls Ministries in Bethapudi, India. Based at their orphanage, he made a preaching tour of the Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh, visiting seven churches and conducting a three day Mission in Bethapudi.
Mr Holdsworth currently conducts Sunday services in the home which he shares with his wife Brenda in Norwich, England.
